The Scott County Fair Board voted to negotiate a 5 year agreement with Motokazie.  We will take the next 30-50 days to work on specifics and hope to be on track for 2016.

Breaking News - Jordan Supercross:

Motokazie needs your help.  On Tuesday October 27^th, Motokazie learned that the Scott County Fair Board voted to discontinue our lease.  Prior to this meeting, we were negotiating a 5 year contract that included moving part of the track to accommodate the Fair’s requests.   This decision came as a shock to us – Lee and Motokazie have a 19 year history of operating at the Scott County Fair and working with the Fair.

We think with your help Motokazie can get on the December agenda have a productive conversation.   Please contact the Fair by phone, email or US mail using the information below.  Let them know the positive influences the Jordan Supercross has been in your life - how important the friendships and family activity is to you.  We live in the community; we draw people in from 100’s miles away and provide a community event.  These activities are important for so many of us.

Labor Day Saturday Night Activities! Pat Clark Benefit & Pitbike Races!

LABOR DAY WEEKEND REMINDERS!!
1. Premix 7-8 will be racing on the Big Track Sunday and Monday.  They will get 1 practice rotation on the big track on Saturday at 4pm.

2. All Pit Vehicles Must Have a Pit Pass Sticker. Stickers $5 and proceeds going to Camo Pat. This is part fundraiser and part means to control Pit Vehicles.

3. Potluck/Fundraiser 5pm Saturday under the picnic pavilion. Jersey's to be auctioned from some of Minnesota's favorite racers, plus Wild Ticket raffle, 50/50 raffle and more.  All proceeds going to Camo Pat!

THIS WEEKEND! Last MX race of the season for Motokazie, also the last time MK will be running Kellogg. Make sure to stop on out for some riding. Saturday Practice 10:30am-4pm. Sunday and Monday District 23 races! Also, Saturday evening is the "Camo Pat" Benefit at 5pm, followed by pitbike racing on the peewee track. And on Sunday after racing is Wyatt's Goon Ride! Come on out for the weekend, camping is available from Friday night through Monday! See ya at the races!!

Labor Day Weekend at Kellogg is right around the corner! It's the last time Motokazie will be operating the Midway track, so come on out for a jam packed weekend of fun.

Gates will be open: Friday 5-10pm,
Saturday 8:30am-10pm,
Sunday 6am-10pm, and Monday 6am-end of racing.

Camping fee is $20 per vehicle, if you leave on Sunday evening you will get $5 back if you turn in your camping pass on your way out.
Pit Passes are $20 per person, if you leave Saturday by 6pm you will get $15 back per pit pass, if you leave on Sunday by 10pm you will get $10 back per pit pass.

We will be selling special vehicle pit passes for Labor Day weekend. If you have any pitbikes, golf carts, ATVs, any pit vehicle, it is $5 per pass and all proceeds will be donated to "Camo Pat".

JORDAN SUPERCROSS THIS SATURDAY! August 29, 2015. Practice the new layout from 11am-3pm for $30! Then pre-race practice starts at 4:30pm, with racing at 5:30pm.

Only TWO more supercross races left in the 2015 season. August 29 with an open practice before, and the rain date of September 12 will be used! There will be a new track design as well!! Make sure to come out and practice the new track before racing on August 29. Practice will run from 11am-3pm on the 29th. All the information is on our website www.motokazie.com. SUPERCROSS THIS THURSDAY!! Carver County Fair in Waconia, MN! Gates open at 3pm. Practice at 6pm. Races at 7pm. Always a great night out at the fair. Huge thanks to Cities Edge Motorsports for being a special sponsor for this event! They will be having some extra prizes for some lucky racers. And we are adding a guaranteed $600 to our open pro purse on top of 150% payback as usual. Also running a 250 Pro class with 150% payback also. Hope to see everyone Thursday!

Motokazie is sadly announcing that this will be our last year operating the Kellogg MX facility.  We appreciate the opportunity  over the last 7 years to have the support of our wonderful customers.  We are certain that Cindy will continue to operate the track or find a suitable Lessee.  We encourage the riders and families to make it to our 2 remaining events on Aug 1-2 & Labor Day Weekend. - Lee

 

 

Motokazie would like to ask everyone to keep Wyatt Krampitz in your thoughts and prayers. He and his family have been a loyal customers of MK since 2007! Wyatt got carbon monoxide poisoning down at Loretta Lynn's this past weekend. He was airlifted to Nashville where he is still currently at. This Sunday at Kellogg we will be doing a prayer and parade lap in between first and second motos to show support for Wyatt. He has always loved the track at Kellogg so let's get as many people out there as possible to support Wyatt in his recovery! #GetWellSoon

Friday, July 31 in Ellsworth WI. Gates open at 3pm. Practice will start at 6pm, races starting at 7pm. Then we head out to Tomah WI for Saturday, August 1! Gates again open at 3pm. Practice starts at 5:30pm, races starting at 6:30pm. Please note the earlier start time. ALSO, we have a $1,200 PRO PURSE in Tomah for the Open Pro class!! We will also have a 250 Pro class with 150% payout. At both SX races it is $10/person for a pit pass before races start. It is $25/amateur class and $30/pro class. We also have our District 23 event going on at Kellogg this weekend too! Gates will be open Friday night until 10pm then re-open at 8:30am on Saturday. Practice on Saturday runs from 10:30am-4pm for $30/practice. And then district races on Sunday. Practice laps at 8am, racing at 9am! It is $10/person for the weekend to come on the facility and it is $15/weekend for camping! This Saturday, June 27th! Jordan Practice and SUPERCROSS!! We will have organized practice from 11am-3pm. Then have our regular night program to follow that! Pre-race practice at 4:30, racing starts at 5:30pm! Come on out and enjoy the racing!!

Kellogg track will be good today. Practice 1030-4.

Raining at kellogg now. The track was dry and packed in- so that means we will be able to rip it after rain. We are waiting for rain to push out, then we will run today.

ROSS THOMPSON MEMORIAL WEEKEND THIS WEEKEND AT KELLOGG! Friday Race School from 11am-4pm, instructed by Bobby Hanson and Brett McLaud! Saturday open practice from 10:30am-4pm for $30. Then Saturday evening activities: Goon Competition, Tag Team Race, & Father/Kid Race, plus Kids Crafts under the pavilion! Then Sunday is our D23 Ross Thompson Memorial Race! Practice starts at 8am, Races start at 9am. We will be doing a Memorial Lap for Ross as well for anyone that wants to participate. And huge thank you to Thompson Electric for the added Open A purse!! MK will be adding a guaranteed payout plus our regular 100% payout to Open A. Guaranteed payout is 1st Place - $300, 2nd Place - $200, 3rd Place - $150. Jordan is in great condition after the rain today, we are only supposed to get less than 1/10 of an inch of rain tonight. Tomorrow is sunny and in the 70s!! Race school from 11am-4pm then RACING UNDER THE LIGHTS! SUPERCROSS practice 5:30pm, racing 6:30pm!

Jordan track is looking OK today.  Not nearly as much rain as forecasted.  We think the track will be fine by 11AM.

JORDAN DETOUR INFORMATION: There is road construction on highway 169 through Jordan. If you are coming from the Twin Cities and going south on 169, you’ll have to follow the detour signs for County Road 9. If you are coming north on 169, you will have to turn left on Delaware Ave (the intersection at OK Corral) then turn right on 195th St and you will see the fairgrounds that way. If you are coming from the east you will have to follow the detour signs for County Road 9 through town.  Below is a link from MNDot of the detour roads.  Give yourself a few extra minutes to accommodate for the construction. Saturday Kellogg practice will run until 4pm. Supercross will run Saturday 430pm practice and 5:30 first heat. Facility gates will close at 10pm, open 6:30AM. Sunday D23 race will run 8am practice. 9am race.

7am Sunday here at Kellogg MX. We are good to go racing.

Your 830pm update from kellogg. Track is sealed in and in perfect condition now. We will update in morning.

Perfect track conditions today for practice. We run 1030-4 today plus we have a free pit bike race, whip contest and Hammerschlogan. Sunday ProAm and D23 race.

730 am update. Kellogg Race school is on 11-4 today. We will be prepping the track. The track received 0.30" rain which is not much.

Race school is still on. We will update in morning on conditions. We are also looking at pushing start time back 2 hours. Stay tuned.

We will have very good track conditions tonight for round 2 of Motokazie SX. Jordan practice starts at 5:30.

Jordan track will be great today. Race school 11-4 then race practice 5:30 and races at 6:30. Rain looks to be breaking apart and will now be much. We will be fine.

I went down to visit with Pat yesterday at HCMC.  There are daily updates here:  http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/patclark2  He is still in coma and still monitoring conditions.  This Friday at Jordan we will have a moment of prayer before the National Anthem.  Also bring any cards or small gifts and we will bring them to Pat at HCMC . Pat Clark update: He is at HCMC (no visitors allowed yet ) , in stable condition, broken arm, leg and two collapsed lungs. He is in Coma at this time.
