MKL update. Thursday June 27^th Motokazie was heard at Rice County Planning Commission.  It was a very extensive meeting that lasted until midnight.  The positive outcomes include the grading and filling CUP  approved to move forward to BOC. 

 

Organized Motorsports CUP addressed the hours and days of operation were set at 260 days open.  Wednesday 10a-6p, Thursday 10a-10p (night track used), Friday 10a-8p, Saturday 10a-8p, Sunday 10a-6p, Up to 48 race days or ‘event days’ are allowed with day race times 8:30a-6p and night races 1p-10p. Eventually these items will move to BOC for final vote.

 

The bad news:  The Organized Motorsports CUP and Campground CUP - although each of the 51 Conditions were thoroughly discussed, they were tabled again due to the Wells Township Road issue.  The gravel road 160^th has been in discussion since March 2013 and Motokazie is again on Wells Township agenda on July 1^st.  Motokazie remains determined and persistent to move this project forward.  Please take the time to write the 5 BOC (Board of Commissioners) a letter of support and urgency for approvals.  The information is listed on www.motokazieland.com

 

 

Thursday June 27^th we have yet another Rice County Planning Commission meeting for a final vote on Motokazieland Conditional Use Permit.  We should be heard around 7pm or 7:30pm, we are item numbers 3 thru 5 on the agenda.

Jordan track and facility look great. The crew has been busy grading, mowing and trimming.. Practice 11am-3pm, Pre-race practice 4:30-5:30, Racing @ 5:30. Come on out and have some fun!

Supercross Extravaganza, Scott County Fairgrounds in Jordan on Friday, July 12th.
MVEC, Mid-Season Championships Supercross presented by Casey's will have a number of special components. Here are a few:
Minnesota Valley Electric Co-op night at the races,
Vintage snowmobile display, Antique Outboard Boat Motors, Car and Cycle clubs from the south metro,
Crosstown Cycle KTM display. Jordan Cheerleaders serving food. Jordan JC's serving beer. Kids Free for grandstand admission July 12th. Balloon Ascensions will launch a huge hot air balloon (weather permitting).

Added Pro Purse (extra $250 1st, $100 2nd, $50 3rd) on top of regular purse. JL photography is adding $50 for the Pro main holeshot.
Just added: C&L Powder Coating to sponsor $50 main event holeshot awards to all the Quad classes (amateur classes will receive prizes equivalent to $50).

This weekend for Fathers Days at Kellogg MX:  Motokazie will hold a father/son/daughter relay race. Saturday 4:15pm.  Also we will have a Motocross video playing at 7pm under the pavilion.  This weekends schedule:  Friday Race School 11-4pm Open ride 4-8pm, Saturday Practice 11-4pm, Sunday Race practice 8am, first moto 9am.

The SX originally scheduled for 6/15 at Kellogg has been moved to 8/24. We apologize for the confusion. The MX practice on 6/15 is still scheduled and the MX race on 6/16 is still on.

Race School this Friday at Kellogg, 6/14. We are looking for 4 more 50cc riders. More information on the Schools about page.

Carver Hare scramble will run on schedule. Girls premier 9am. Micro macro 10.30. C at noon. A B at 2.
