This weekend at Kellogg MX - Motokazie is running a Silent Auction of the remaining unclaimed donations for the Kerber Benefit.  There will be a list of items up on Thursday.  ANY PERSON can bid on items by emailing Lee@motokazie.com, in your email list the item number, description, your phone number and the amount you will bid ‘up to’ .  Lee will place bids on your behalf.  Bids in person will be accepted Saturday at 3pm up to Sunday at 3pm. Email bids accepted anytime.   Items will be on display Sunday only from noon to 3pm. (list of items coming)

This Labor day weekend:   SX in Plymouth , WI Saturday Sept 1.  All classes offered, $1300 pro purse. 

Kellogg MN Motocross Weekend:  Friday gates open 5pm to 10pm, Saturday Gates open 8:30am, practice 11-4, evening activity Music in the pavilion, gates close 10pm.  Sunday Gates open 6:30am, practice 8am, race at 9am, evening activity – free pitbike racing at the 50cc track (classes: Moms/girls, 10”, 12”, golf cart), Music to follow in the Pavilion.  Gates close at 10pm.  Monday Gates open 6:30am, practice 8am, race 9am.  For races 50cc premix 7-8 race on big track.  Saturday practice 50cc get 10 minutes at 3:50pm.  Special gifts from Fly& Plainview Powersports.  Free MK tee shirt to anyone who races both Sunday and Monday.  Coupon specials from all our vendors to be handed out.  See you there! MK is still searching to fill this position:  Now Hiring: Motokazie is looking for Full Time seasonal general laborer. Full Time work is immediately available from now until approx. Oct 20^th. The position will be a balance of working at Motocross tracks, shop work and working with our construction crew.  Must be able to lift 50lbs.  Most of the work is located in Cologne and Jordan. 5:30 SX races

*If you would like your Saturday pit pass refunded, you must leave by 5:30 Saturday night. Anyone leaving after 5:30 will not be getting a refund since they will have stayed to watch the Supercross races.

PeeWee's to race on Big Track!

August 19th, September 2nd and September 3rd at Kellogg MX, the 50cc racers will race on the big mx track. Saturday practice for 50cc riders will still be on the PeeWee track.

Motokazie regrets to inform riders that we CAN NOT hold a District 23 race at Kellogg on Aug 12^th.  Please read the District rule below:

 

SECTION D, DATES OF POINTGIVING MEETS.

All point paying meets shall be held between January 1 and December 31(Inclusive), except for Motocross season defined

under Competition Rules Article VIII Section B # 3. Point paying meets shall be those meets scheduled at the Annual

Sanctioning Meeting. All requests for additional District 23 point giving meets or changes in the location or date of

previously scheduled meet must have the unanimous approval of all clubs and promoters holding sanctioned meets of the same type. It is the responsibility of the requesting club or promoter to obtain these approvals. After verifying the approvals, the District shall grant the requested change or addition pending AMA approval. Points shall be kept on an annual basis.

As I learned of my mistake today, I did call Staples Motocross to ask for approval.  It is unfortunate that Staples motocross track will not allow permission to Motokazie to take the open Mazzeppa date that was released last week.  Again I apologize for the mistake.   Lee Theis
