The 6/22 Motokazie Race School at Kellogg MX has 1 50cc rider registered. We need a total of 5 to include them in the class. Please sign up by sending in the entry form and deposit. Entry form is on the Race School page or email jamie@motokazie.com.

Kerber Auto Repair re-opened last week and we want to spread the word that they will continue to run the shop.  The shop can handle all types of repair like: tires, alignments, brakes, diagnostics, motors & transmissions.

Their number is 952-492-6764.

This weekend Kellogg MX will be open for riding Sunday May 27^th 11-4pm.  Track will be prepped.

This Saturday's Race School at Jordan is full. The next Race School at Jordan will be June 16th. We have plenty of openings for June 16th. Please mail your entry form to Motokazie, PO Box 56, Jordan, MN 55352 along with your $30 reservation fee.

Great turn out for the benefit! 2401 adults and kids through the gate and 202 riders participated in riding on the MX track. We did raise over $100,000!

If you can not make the auction, call a friend present and have them bid for you! We will have to hold your friends check until you can pay if the winning bidder. We have 720 items of ALL different price points. The retail values total $98,000 so our goal now is to have enough bidders on items to maximize the benefit potential. Payment accepted: Cash, Credit Card, Check.

Mike Will just put this ‘12 Yamaha Zuma 125 together for the benefit auction.  $3350 MSRP, gas saving 89MPG and top speed around 60MPH.

May 2012 MotokazieLand update:  We continue to be 100% committed to this project as we push through the processes.  Motokazie continues to be represented by Briggs and Morgan in regards to our Motokazie v. Rice County suit.  The suit is in the Court of Appeals at this time and it will take a few more months to know any result.  Our EAW have been submitted since January to the county and we continue to work on moving the process forward.   This continues to be a difficult road and YOU can help by calling and writing the Rice County Board of Commissioners.   – Lee Theis

 

Benefit update: All items are coming together well, we have updated some items on the information page.  Please click on the logo on the upper right hand side and hit ‘refresh’ on your browser.  Important notes: 1. Any donation item for auction should be turned in to WW Will & Sons by Tuesday.  We will accept them late – but prefer early.  2. Volunteers sheets are full - so we tell everyone that the most important thing to do now IS BRING MORE FRIENDS/FAMLIY to the event.  More people = more $$ for the cause.  3. 10:50am Motocross side will have a moment of silence and memorial slow lap around the track.  Come early.  4. Pictures of our auction items will be posted later this week.  We have over $40,000 retail value of donations and more are coming in.  We look forward to seeing all of you Saturday May 12^th.

 

Reminder that Motokazie is operating two events on Saturday May 12^th.  The Kerber family and accident victims benefit is held in Jordan at the Scott County Fairgrounds.  Kellogg MX will run its scheduled open riding from 11-4pm.  Kellogg will host a District race Sunday May 13^th.
